About Laboo
Laboo is an interactive word game that tests creativity, speed, and communication. The goal is to describe
terms without using certain related words. Whether at home or on the go – with Laboo, every moment becomes a
guarantee of fun!
Game Overview
- Game Materials: The Laboo App and optionally, a piece of paper and a pen for keeping
score.
- Game Flow:
- Form Teams: Players are divided into at least two teams, each with at least 2
players.
- Describe the Term: A player from the active team gets the app, starts a round,
and tries to describe the displayed term without using related words.
- Time Pressure: The describer has only as much time as set in the settings for
the round to describe as many terms as possible.
- Related Words: Opponents pay close attention to whether the describer says any
of the related words. If this happens, the point goes to the opposing team.
- Collect Points: The team earns points for each correctly guessed term.
Incorrect descriptions or the use of related words lead to point deductions.
- Game Rules:
- The describer may not use gestures.
- No variations of the main term or related words may be used (e.g., "running" instead of "run").
- Letters or words from the related terms may not be spelled out.
